Emperor's radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse: "IMP PHILIPPVS AVG"
Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.

Mint and Year: Rome - undated (AD 247)

Rarity:    common

Reverse: "AEQVITAS AVGG"
Aequitas (Equity, Fair dealing) standing left, holding scales and cornucopia.

Note: Just when everything seems to fit, we find exceptions.  This reverse style is back to the first version of the earlier pieces with the lowered right arm holding the scales,  tiara-style headdress and flowing gown.  Probably a hybrid - using an older reverse die with a new obverse die.

Emperor's radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse: "IMP M IVL PHILIPPVS AVG"
Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right.

Mint and Year: Antioch - undated (AD 245-249)

Rarity:    Previously unknown reverse type.

Reverse: "AEQVITAS P P"
Aequitas (Equity, Fair dealing) standing left, holding scales and cornucopia.

Note:  The engraver appears to have become confused.  As they were probably engraving both dated and undated reverses at the same time, he seems to have switched in the middle of the first "P" which has characteristics of an "A".
