          obv.:  "IMP CAES P HELV PERTIN AVG" 
                    Laureate head right.
          rev.:  "OPI DIVIN TR P COS II"
                     Ops seated left, holding corn-ears.
          note:  Nice portrait. Smallish flan takes part of legend.  Reverse weak on upper left side.  Sear prices this one at $800 in VF.

                    Bare head right.
          rev.:  "MINER PACIF COS II"
                     Minerva standing right, holding olive-branch and shield.
          note:  Nice portrait. Smallish flan takes part of legend.  Reverse weak on left side.

                             3.26 gm, Sear-1756, RSC-222
          obv.:  "SEVERVS PIVS AVG"
                     Laureate head right.
          rev.:  "INDVLGENTIA AVGG IN CARTH"
                     Dea Caelestis riding a lion right, holding a thunderbolt and scepter, while water gushes from spring behind her.
         note:  Strong example of this interesting reverse.  Dea Caelestis is the patron deity of Carthage and it signifies the construction of an aqueduct.

          obv.:  "SEVERVS PIVS AVG" 
                     Laureate head right
          rev.:  "PART MAX P M TR P VIIII"
                     Two captives, seated back to back, trophy between, hands bound in front, supporting their heads.
          note:  This reverse represents the great victories over Parthia of AD 198.Nice strong strike, just a bit off center crowding the legend on that side but nothing is lost.

                     Bare-headed and draped bust right

                     Diana standing half-left, holding long torch in both hands.
          note:  Beautiful coin.  Not much more to say.

          note:  Nice detail, Older portrait.

          obv.:  "ANTONINVS PIVS AVG" 
                      Boy's laureate and draped bust right
          rev.:  "PONTIF TR P VIIII COS II"
                     Salus seated left, feeding, out of patera, snake coiling up from altar; her left arm rests on side of throne.
          note:  Nice coin slightly off center to right, crowding legend.  Nice portrait of Emperor as a young man.  Looks much nicer than he was in real life where he had his brother killed in their mother's arms.

                      Augusta Trajana mint in Thracia
          obv.:  Greek legends 
                    Laureate bust right
          rev.:  Greek legends
                     Caracalla standing left, wearing tunic, holding patera and scepter.
          note:  Coin is much darker than it appears here.  It is the normal dark green-brown patina.  A bit of corrosion on the reverse.
