            RSC-11, Sear-M-1433
          obv.:  "L SESTI PRO Q"
                   Veiled and draped bust of Libertas right. 
          rev.:  "Q CAEPIO BRVTVS PRO COS"
                   Tripod between ax and simpulum.
         note:  Rare coin issued in Brutus's name.  Sear lists this coin at $720 in VF. This piece is not VF but still a good specimen of this infamous murderer.

          obv.:  Diademed and draped bust of Liberty right, SC below chin, "MENSOR before, cap of liberty and XXV behind.
          rev.:  Roma in bigariga right, assisting togate figure to mount into chariot, scorpion below horses feet, L FARSVLEI in exergue.
          note:  Nice old toning and detail.  Strike a bit soft to the right on obverse.

          rev.: Male figure left, dropping tablet into a cista. "LONGIN III V behind.
          note:  This commemorates the passing of the Lex Cassia tabellaria, a law relating to the method of voting.

          rev.:  "P HYPSAE / AED CVR above Jupiter in quadriga left, "CAPT" on right, "C HYPSAE COS PREIV" in exergue, scorpion below horses.
          note: Smallish flan crowds devices a bit. Reverse struck a bit high.  Nice old collection toning.

                     Bust of Diana Nemorensis right
          rev.:  Triple cult-statue of Diana Nemorensis facing, cypress grove in background.
          note:  These nymphs preside over the green forests and it was to them that the groves of the Lares on Mount Coelius were consecrated.
